CalendarBell

An unmissable calendar alarm for your PC.

CalendarBell sits in your Windows system tray, watches your Google calendars, and when an event is about to start it takes over the screen with a full-screen alert and an alarm sound — over your game, your editor, or whatever else you were doing.

What it does

How it handles your data

CalendarBell runs entirely on your own computer. It asks Google for read-only calendar access, so it cannot change anything in your calendar, and it has no server of its own — your events are never sent anywhere. Credentials are encrypted on disk with the Windows Data Protection API, so only your Windows account can read them.

The full details are in the privacy policy.

Built to be auditable

CalendarBell is written in Python using only the standard library, with no third-party dependencies. There is no build step and no package supply chain — the entire application can be read top to bottom.
